March 26th:Interfaith Voices Rally for Medication Abortion

On March 26th, Interfaith Voices for Reproductive Freedom (IVRF) organized a rally in protest of a US Supreme Court hearing concerning access to mifepristone and the FDA’s regulatory authority. A final decision is expected in June. Over 80 people participated in the rally, Defend Medication Abortion. Attendees came from interfaith congregations from throughout the Triangle area. Speakers delivered remarks from their perspective of their faith and why they support a woman’s right to bodily autonomy and reproductive healthcare. News coverage of the event is featured below.
